Crash analysis for the Fountain Safety Action Plan was used to identify high-frequency serious injury and fatal crash intersections. Level of Service for Safety (LOSS), the current best practice to identify and prioritize candidate high-injury network (HIN) intersections for safety countermeasure improvements was used. Crash analysis findings for twenty-three (23) candidate HIN intersections are summarized in an analysis spreadsheet. Crash analysis findings and recommendations are summarized below for the thirteen (13) intersections that were ultimately selected as Fountain SAP high-priority HIN intersections.
